MY EXPERIENCE
When I first decided to trade, I was completely perplexed by terms like market hours, pre-market session, London session, after-hours trading, and so on. Only then did I begin to understand market hours, pre market, post market, and after market hours.
When I first decided to enter the forex market, I was perplexed by the three market sessions and what time it was in my country.
Then I learned about all the market sessions but wasn’t sure what time it was in my country, so I changed a few settings in tradingview and added some indicators.
Now I trade with complete understanding of all trading sessions.
Below are the timings I have learnt so far..

Should I buy the stock when the market opens?
No. After the first few minutes, known as the pre-market session, you can buy stocks. Most brokers don’t allow retail traders from trading during the pre-market session.

No. Unless the government declares stock market holidays, it operates on a regular schedule.

No, after the market closes, stock prices do not change.
Can you sell stock when the market is closed?
Yes. After the market closes, you can sell stocks. After the market closes, you can even place a stop loss order. However, the order will not be executed until the market opens.
What did the stock market close at yesterday?
The stock’s close price is the price at which it was last traded. You can find the close price by looking at the stock’s data.
